On-Site Support for an LG Supply Chain Factory in Vietnam
Recently, our after-sales engineering team from YUCHON CNC traveled to Vietnam to provide on-site machine training and technical support for a factory within the LG supply chain.
The customer mainly processes a nylon film layer bonded to thin stainless steel sheets. This material requires extremely stable kiss-cutting performance and precise blade control to ensure a clean surface and consistent cutting quality. The finished products are used as protective components for home appliance housings.
Before choosing YUCHON CNC, the factory had mainly been using European cutting equipment. Because of this, the customer had very high expectations for machine precision, cutting stability, and operator control.
Detailed Machine Optimization and Cutting Adjustment
After arriving on site, our engineers immediately carried out cutting tests using the customer’s original cutting tools and materials. To achieve the best cutting result, the team carefully optimized multiple machine settings, including:
1.Table flatness calibration
2.Gantry clearance adjustment
3.Blade depth fine-tuning
4.kiss-cutting pressure optimization
5.Tool structure testing
During testing, the engineers found that the material required extremely precise blade exposure adjustment. Even a very small change in blade depth could directly affect the final cutting quality.
To improve cutting consistency, the engineering team repeatedly adjusted and tested the setup step by step until the machine achieved stable cutting performance across the entire working area.
The engineers referenced the European machine’s tool structure and replaced the kiss-cutting tool spring with a softer version.After continuous testing and adjustment, the final cutting performance met the customer’s production requirements.
Professional Training Improved Customer Operation Skills
In addition to machine adjustment, our after-sales engineers provided detailed on-site training for the customers technical staff.
Compared with previous online communication, the face-to-face training helped operators better understand:
1. Blade exposure adjustment methods
2. Correct adjustment range and techniques
3. Tool calibration procedures
4. Daily machine adjustment skills
Through step-by-step guidance and repeated practice, two customer technicians were able to independently complete tool adjustment and machine calibration by the end of the training.
